Meghan, présentatrice télé d'une trentaine d'années, a passé une sale journée. Non seulement elle vient de se faire larguer par son fiancé, mais elle n'a pas obtenu la promotion qu'elle convoitait… Pour lui remonter le moral, ses copines l'emmènent faire la fête toute la nuit. Mais le lendemain matin, elle se réveille dans le lit d'un parfait inconnu, sans argent, ni téléphone portable. Alors qu'elle parvient tout de même à consulter sa messagerie vocale, elle apprend qu'elle est de nouveau en lice pour décrocher le boulot de ses rêves.
