The Kovak Box
David Norton est un romancier à succès spécialisé dans les histoires de science-fiction. Tout semble lui réussir, ses romans sont tous des bestsellers, et sa vie amoureuse est parfaite. Lors d'une conférence littéraire à Majorque, David fait la rencontre de Frank Kovak, un de ses plus grands fans, qu'il repousse poliment. Le soir même David apprend que Jane, sa fiancée s'est suicidée, elle aurait apparement reçu un appel la poussant à se jeter par la fenêtre. Aidé de Silvia, qu'il a rencontré à Majorque, David se met à enquêter sur la mort de sa bien aimée et se rend peu à peu compte qu'autour de lui, de nombreuses personnes se suicident...
