Au 17ème siècle, alors qu'une guerre fait rage entre la Chine et la Corée, trois soldats coréens se réfugient dans une taverne complètement abandonnée. Mais graduellement, la tension monte entre les survivants. Autrefois amis, deux d’entre eux veulent définitivement régler leurs comptes. Déserteur et condamné à mort, le 3ème homme, simple soldat, décide de les éliminer. Pendant qu'ils s'entre-déchirent, une patrouille chinoise approche de la taverne…
