Coeur animal
Paul est un paysan frustre qui ne chérit que ses bêtes. Emprisonné dans son incapacité à transmettre la tendresse, il rudoie ses proches. Dans son ombre, sa femme souffre d'un mal qu'il refuse d'admettre. Elle arrête de travailler à ses côtés et soudain tout s'effondre pour Paul. Il se résout alors à engager un ouvrier polonais. Cette rencontre va bouleverser sa vie, l'engageant pour la première fois à s'interroger sur son " rapport aux femmes ". À travers son ouvrier et le départ de sa femme pour l'hôpital le regard de Paul, insensiblement, va s'humaniser.
